Dakota Drifters Snowmobile Club Prep Mtg for State Convention

Mtg was brought to order by Ron Longville.

Minutes were read and approved. Treasures report was read and approved.

OLD BUSINESS: Convention Beer and Bull Session discussion brought up the option of moving it to the armory. Costs would be lower and we could have anything for food and it would make it cheap. We will check on this.

There was a question about the cost of the ad in the snowplainsman being $245. We are bound by contract to run the ad and have no choice. Motion was made to approve the ad and passed under

the distress of the members.

Discussion was made about what to charge vendors. A motion was made by Kristi to charge $100 for a 10x 10 booth inside the convention center. Let the vendors decide how much space they need with giving manufacturers the preferences. Cost for hallway booths will be $25 to $50 depending on availability. Vote was called and passed.

It was suggested to form a committee to call vendors and followup with the vendors to come. Brian DeBaere will head the committee. Bob Weisbeck volunteered to help call vendors.

T-Shirts need to be ordered soon. Motion was made by Kristi to order 100 T-Shirts from Prairie Graphics at whatever the negotiated price is not to exceed $10 per shirt to sell asap. Seconded Melanie.

The hat order is Tabled.

Cubby’s promotion is sometime in Sept.

Meetings will start being on Wednesdays again. Next Mtg Is Sept 6th.
